Account

Account & Subscription

Registration only requires a username and password. Get the client, subscription and plan status from the user panel; changing devices does not require setting up a separate purchase.

Do I need an email address to register for VPNWR?

No. You can register with a username and password, and the registration page does not ask for an email address. Keep a secure record of both so you can verify your account after changing browsers or clearing local data. Once registered, use the user panel to view plans, get the client and manage your subscription.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it?

Sign in to the user panel and open the client or subscription section. Copy the subscription details provided for your current account, then return to the client and update the subscription. If old routes still appear, first confirm that you copied the latest details from the current account, then remove the old subscription and import it again. Do not send subscription details to anyone else or paste them on a public page.

Do I need to buy another plan when I change devices?

No. You do not need to purchase separately because you changed devices. VPNWR supports unlimited devices, so the same account’s active subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Sign in to the user panel on the new device to get the client and subscription, then follow that platform’s import steps. When retiring the old device, remove any saved subscription details from it.

Where can I get the client, and why is there no direct installer link?

The client is available through the user panel. After signing in, open the download section, choose Windows, macOS, iOS, Android or Linux, and follow the page instructions to get the client and subscription. Installer files and live subscription addresses are not published on marketing pages so downloads, plan status and account delivery stay aligned, and so you can find the current version when changing devices.

Connection

Connection & Troubleshooting

For connection issues, first determine whether every route is unavailable, webpages alone fail to open or only one app is not using the proxy. Once you know the scope, adjust settings; this is usually more effective than repeatedly reinstalling the client.

What should I check first if the client cannot connect at all?

First update the subscription and confirm that the account still has an active plan or available data. Then try a route in a different region and connection type. Check that the client has system network permission and that the device clock is accurate. If every route fails, restart the client and your current network. If the issue continues, submit a ticket through the user panel with the platform, client message and route types you tried.

It says connected, but webpages still will not open. What should I do?

A connected status only means the client has established a link; it does not always mean the browser is using it. Open other websites first to determine whether one site or all webpages are affected, then confirm that the client’s system proxy or virtual network mode is enabled. Switch routes and reopen the browser. If only domain names fail to resolve, restore the system network settings and reconnect.

Why is a particular app not using the proxy?

A common cause is that the client is in Rule mode and the app’s connection does not match a rule that requires forwarding. The app may also use a connection method different from ordinary webpages. Switch temporarily to a more comprehensive connection mode for comparison, then check whether split-routing rules exclude the app or target domain. After making changes, fully close and reopen the app so it does not reuse an old connection.

How can I stop the connection from dropping when a mobile device goes into the background?

Mobile operating systems may restrict background activity when the screen locks or you switch apps. In system settings, allow the client to run continuously, disable battery-saving restrictions for it, and confirm that network permission is still enabled. The connection may also fail when the device switches between Wi-Fi and mobile data; return to the client and reconnect. Menu names vary by system, so check the device’s battery and background-management settings.

Routing

Speed & Routes

Route performance depends on the access network, target region and connection type. VPNWR offers 100+ countries and 160+ routes; compare options around the specific service and current network conditions.

What should I do if speeds slow down or video buffers during peak hours?

Pause bandwidth-heavy tasks such as downloads and cloud sync, then compare a nearby-region route in the same client. Cross-border paths can change with the access network and destination service during peak hours, so the nearest region is not always the best choice. Compare the actual experience of IEPL dedicated routes, relay routes and direct routes, then stick with the route that is stable at that time instead of switching repeatedly during playback.

How should I choose between IEPL dedicated, relay and direct routes?

For ongoing meetings, file transfers or long playback sessions, test IEPL dedicated and relay routes first. For ordinary webpages or services with a specific regional requirement, you can also test direct routes. Route names describe how the connection is organized and do not guarantee identical results on every network. Choose the target region first, then compare speed and stability route by route on the same device and access network.

How do I choose a route region for Streaming or AI Tools?

Choose a route in the region required by the destination service, then reopen the webpage or app. If the service still shows the previous region, clear its cache and session data and try again, as an existing login session may retain the earlier regional result. VPNWR offers 100+ countries and 160+ routes, which you can switch by target region; the service itself decides which content and features are available under its account and regional rules.

Will changing routes affect my subscription or data already used?

Changing routes does not alter the subscription or require another plan purchase. The client continues using the same subscription details for the current account; only the connection exit changes to another available route. Web requests, meetings or file transfers in progress may be interrupted, so save your work before disconnecting the current route and connecting to the new one. Data usage is still calculated under the rules of your plan.

Billing

Billing & Refunds

Monthly plans and data bundles work differently. When reviewing a plan, check the data allowance, reset rules and whether you need continuous long-term use.

What monthly plans are available, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date rather than at the start of a calendar month. Check the current cycle shown in the user panel for your remaining data. If your usage changes significantly, choose a more suitable tier in the next cycle instead of judging your needs from a single connection.

What happens if I upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle?

For a mid-cycle monthly upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan, remaining period and target tier in the user panel, then confirm the result shown on the page. If you only need more data temporarily, compare the data bundles first. Do not submit the same action repeatedly, or it may become difficult to distinguish the order status.

Do data bundles expire, and what options are available?

Data bundles remain valid until used and never expire. Options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly plans that reset on each activation date, bundles suit irregular usage and users who prefer to allocate data based on actual consumption. Before purchasing, confirm on the plan page whether you are choosing a data bundle or a monthly plan so the two billing models are not confused.

Which payment methods are supported?

VPNWR supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. After choosing a plan in the user panel, the checkout page will show the available payment options. Recheck the plan name and billing method before paying, then return to the order section to check the status. If payment is complete but the order has not updated, do not pay repeatedly; keep the order details and submit a ticket through the user panel for review.

How do I request a refund?

VPNWR offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. To apply, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket section and provide the relevant order and refund request for review. Before submitting, check whether the issue is caused by an outdated subscription, route selection or client permissions. If you still want a refund, follow the next steps in the ticket. Do not submit subscription details or payment credentials on a public page.

Issue still unresolved

Sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with your platform, the client message, the route type in use when the issue occurred and the steps you have already tried. The more complete the information, the easier it is to reproduce the issue and identify its scope.
